A decision on whether to expand a town’s boundary which would mean villages would lose some of their land is to take place.

Mid Suffolk District Council is meeting at 5.30pm today to discuss the plans which would see Stowmarket’s land allocation increase. The move has bee criticised by both Combs and Onehouse parish councils.

But the town council, which is behind the proposal, says the expansion will include areas where new town housing developments are to be built.
