A lorry blocked a main road and a driveway for eight hours in a Suffolk village. 

Witnesses reported that the driver ignored 'road ahead closed' signs along the B1077 Aspall Road in Debenham.

The lorry then became stuck trying to turn round in the driveaway of Hilltop Barn.

Property owner Rebecca Stone said: "This lorry got stuck in our drive for eight hours yesterday and has wrecked our drive."

Roadworks are currently happening on the road at the junction with Bellwell Lane due to deterioration along the edge of the carriageway. 

Work is due to be completed on November 16.
