Traffic was stopped on the A14 in both directions due to a crash involving a car and a caravan.
Emergency services, including the air ambulance, were called to the collision on the westbound carriageway, near to the A1120 slip road at Stowmarket, at about 12.40pm on Sunday.
A spokesman for Suffolk police said the crash involved multiple vehicles.

National Highways stated it involves a car and a caravan.
The westbound carriageway was closed, while but has since reopened.
The extent of injuries is currently unclear.
