A person has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after a crash involving a car and a lorry.
Emergency services were called to the crash in the B1077 in Framsden at about 3.30pm on Monday.
A spokesman for Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service said appliances from Ipswich East and Princes Street were called to assist with the removal of a person.
A Suffolk police spokeswoman said the car crashed into the ditch.
One person was taken to Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge with serious injuries.
Drivers were being advised to avoid the area, with the road closed from the junction with Chapel Hill and Mill Hill.
