There are several road closures this week which will likely cause disruption for drivers.

Here are five which you should be aware of:

Bedingfield Way, Bury St Edmunds

Bedingfield Way closed for construction work on July 20 and is not due to reopen until 11.59pm on July 26.

This is so that Anglian Water can carry out some utility repair and maintenance work in the area.

There is a diversion in place.

Rope Walk and Dove Street, Ipswich

Both Rope Walk and Dove Street have been closed since July 17.

UK Power Networks is currently developing a new service connection and the traffic will be moving slowly in the area.

The roads are due to reopen at 11.59pm on August 4.

Coram Street to Potts Lane, Hadleigh Heath

Suffolk County Council has been carrying out drainage improvement works in this area since June 12.

The work includes clearing the ditch and constructing a new drainage system.

The closure runs from the A107 Coram Street in Polstead to Potts Lane in Layham.

The road is due to reopen at 11.59pm on July 28.

Edwards Lane (U2627), Bramfield

This road near Southwold will remain closed for a couple of weeks yet while Network Rail Infrastructure Limited carries out some roadworks.

While the details of the work have not been disclosed, the roadworks will be in place until 5am on August 7.

Stowmarket Road, Rattlesden

The road will be closed from Woolpit Road to Back Road in Rattlesden for some repairs to the road.

Road workers will be filling potholes larger than 10cm wide, a job which should save people's tyres.

The closure will be in place on July 27 between 10am - 3pm.
