Roadworks are once again taking place across Suffolk this week and are set to disrupt drivers. 

Here are some sets of closures people should look to avoid this week. 

Belstead Road, Ipswich

Belstead Road in Ipswich will be closed from Monday, June 12, until Wednesday, June 21, as a result of works being carried out by Suffolk County Council. 

Diversion routes will be in place while the work is carried out. 

Lavender Hill, Ipswich

Due to works being carried out by CityFibre, Lavender Hill in Ipswich will be shut between Monday and Friday.

New Lane, Holbrook 

New Lane in Holbrook will be closed from Monday until Wednesday due to works by Anglian Water.

A diversion is in place via the B1080, the B1456, Harkstead Lane and vice versa.

Waldingfield Road, Great Waldingfield

Waldingfield Road and Upsher Green in Great Waldingfield will be shut on Monday and Tuesday this week.

Both roads will be closed between 9.30am and 3.30pm due to works being completed by Suffolk Highways.

Ipswich Street, Stowmarket

Ipswich Street in Stowmarket will be shut overnight on Monday and Tuesday due to urgent repairs being carried out by Suffolk County Council. 

Rose Green Road, Lindsey 

Due to works being carried out by UK Power Networks, Rose Green Road in Lindsey will be closed between Monday and Friday.

A diversion route is in place while the works are carried out.

College Road, Framlingham 

College Road in Framlingham will be shut between 10am and 3pm on Tuesday as a result of works being completed by Suffolk Highways. 

A diversion is in place via the B1120, the A1120, the B1116 and vice versa. 

Well Close Square will also be closed during the same period.
