1. Lavenham Vintage Tea Rooms 

Opened in 2016, this Lavenham tearoom is well worth a visit.

Offering a wide range of tradional food and drinks, the tearoom was recently awarded a prestigious Tripadvisor award

2. Baileys 2 - Coffee and Tearooms

The tearoom offers a variety of tasty treats, aromatic coffees and sandwiches with a twist.

Located near the town centre, the café is the perfect place to stop off and take a break from shopping.

3. The Shed 

The Shed in Sproughton is offering a unique afternoon tea experience - inside its newly-installed Anderson air raid shelter.

The tearoom presents presents customers with the opportunity to eat afternoon tea in a historically accurate bomb shelter.

Owner Lesley Austin has done away with the traditional three-tier afternoon tea stand, instead opting for vintage sandwich and cake tins.

4. Nutshells-by-the-Sea

Nutshells-by-the-Sea was opened by the owners of a café that was destroyed in a fire last year.

The dog-friendly tearoom offers traditional afternoon tea as well as other lunch items. 

It is also only a short walk away from the seafront.

5. Ivy and Bond Tearoom

Opened in memory of a dad-of-three who passed away after a battle with cancer, Ivy and Bond has proven to be a real hit since opening earlier this year.

Offering tradional afternoon teas and other items including ploughmans, sandwiches and sweet treats. 

Owner Helen Clutterham recently announced her plans to take over the building next door to convert it into an ice cream parlour
