The Manger

"The Yorkshire puddings are great and the roasties are to die for. Very reasonably priced, too."

Liz Nice said: "The best one by far is at the Mason's Arms in Bury St Edmunds. There is nothing to top it.

"The meat always melts in your mouth, a good sized Yorkshire and portion of veg. And a side order of cauliflower cheese is always a bonus."

Tom Swindles said: "I went to Fields with a large group and every single one of us agreed that we'd not had a better Sunday roast in Suffolk.

"I could tell each ingredient had been lovingly prepared and I will be recommending Fields to as many people as I can."

The Fox Inn

"They give you enormous Yorkshire puddings with lots of gravy and you can order a side of stuffing.

"Excellent service and it’s affordable."

The Mermaid

Dolly Carter said: "The Fountain is a great place to stop on a Sunday walk around the Suffolk countryside.

"The Yorkshire puddings are huge and another high point for me was the roasted carrots."

The Ivy House Country Hotel

Reece Hanson said: "The Ivy House Hotel is in one of the most picturesque spots in Lowestoft, but their Sunday carvery is worth the visit on its own.

"From generous portions and golden crispy roast potatoes, there's not a fault to be found on the plate."
