Firefighters were called to help a man who had his leg trapped in the steps of a tractor in Needham Market today.
Crews from Needham Market and Stowmarket were called to the incident on the B1113 Ipswich Road at 2.38pm.
By 3.18pm, firefighters had released the casualty.
East Anglian Air Ambulance (EAAA) also attended the scene.
A spokesman said EAAA medics Dr Neil Berry and critical care paramedic Jemma Varela were tasked to the incident.
They added: “Anglia Two arrived on scene in a field to treat a male who had fallen from a tractor and suffered a leg injury.
“The team provided sedation on scene before working with the East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust (EEAST), police and fire crews to extricate the patient.”
The man was taken to Ipswich Hospital in an EEAST ambulance, and is said to be in a stable condition.
