A tractor fire that also affected about half an acre of loose hay in Walsham Le Willows was extinguished this afternoon.
At 2.50pm, Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service was called to West Street, and mobilised an appliance from Ixworth and one from Elmswell.
On arrival crews found one tractor and baler well alight.
Three hose reels and beaters were used to extinguish the fire, which was under control by 3.35pm.
Both crews were back at their respective bases by 4.19pm.
