There are plenty of displays, featuring musical backdrops, Halloween themes, family fun fairs and more to enjoy between tonight and November 7. We’re constantly adding more events to our online list so check that out here too.
Ipswich Christmas Crafts and Food Fair
Now in its fouth year, browse arts, crafts, gifts, food and drink from 10am-4pm at Trinity Park. Meet spooky bugs and other animals Saturday and reindeer on Sunday.
Up Market luxury lifestyle shopping event
With just 55 days until Christmas, tomorrow’s fundraising event could be the answer to your prayers. It’s been organised by Age UK Suffolk and Kesgrave Community Centre and runs 10.30am–4.30pm with entry £2 on the door. There will be more than 30 exhibitors showcasing fashion, accessories, photography, food and drink, beauty, homeware, gifts and more.
Comedy 4 Kids
Red Rose Chain welcome comedian James Campbell, who pioneered the idea of stand-up for children, to The Avenue Theatre, Ipswich, 2pm, November 1. Aimed at youngsters aged six plus, their parents and anybody who likes comedy without the rude words. Expect discussions about lollipop ladies, quantum chromatic disruption machines, tartan badgers or perhaps none of that.
Hugh Cornwell
The former Stranglers frontman is very much his own man these days with plenty of solo material to include alongside the hits. He’s at The Apex, Bury St Edmunds, this Sunday. Read entertainment writer Wayne Savage’s interview with him in the latest Suffolk magazine.
