The 10th StowFiesta event featuring some of Suffolk’s finest musicians and comedians took place on Friday and Saturday, despite the damp weather.
Organised by Stowmarket Town Council and taking place at Chilton Fields, the event opened on Friday night with a comedy set from Pierre Novellie and music from Stiff in the Morning and The Camelfoot Raiders.
On Saturday, two stages of live music combined with a beer festival and family activities made for an eclectic day.
Events and theatre manager at Stowmarket Town Council, David Marsh, said: “We believe StowFiesta is the best free family music festival in the area. There may be some that are bigger, but in terms of quality of music and the range of free family entertainment, I don’t think we can be matched.”
