Colourful hanging baskets which are brightening a Stowmarket shopping street are on display thanks to the town council and a housing developer.
Lovell has sponsored Stowmarket Town Council’s floral display at Wolsey Road shops this summer as part of its commitment to making improvements for communities.
The developer is working on a large-scale regeneration project for housing association Orbit, and has so far completed 59 new homes in Stowmarket.
Dave Mueller, Stowmarket town mayor, said: “We would like to thank Lovell for their generous contribution towards the hanging baskets. The town council has received numerous positive comments as to how they have enhanced the area.”
Simon Medler, Lovell regional managing director, said: “It’s been great to help out with the hanging baskets for the second year.
“Bringing about improvements for local communities is central to the work we do and we were delighted to be able to give the town council our support.”
