ROY LINDON HAWES It is with much sadness we announce that on Wednesday, December 19, 2018, Roy aged 56 years, died peacefully after a courageous and brave fight against cancer, in St Nicholas Hospice, surrounded by his loving wife and children. Most adored, devoted, cherished and loved husband and best friend of Tracey. Beloved and adored father of Ellie, Alice and our precious Phoebe. A loved and adored stepfather to Danielle, Josh and Fran. Much loved father-in-law to Joe, Adam, Glenn and Jo. A very dear and loved Papa to Elsie, Ethel and new born Stanley Roy. A dear son-in-law to Janet, a much loved brother and brother-in-law. A dear uncle and great-uncle to his many nieces and nephews. Also a devoted son to the late Clarence and Edith. Roy was also a much loved, liked and respected man to all of his many friends. He will be very sadly missed and will leave a huge void in all our lives. Funeral service will take place at St Marys Church, Haughley on Tuesday, January 15, 2019, at 11.00 a.m. Donations, if desired, to Roys charities Ochre (promoting awareness of oesophageal cancer) or St. Nicholas Hospice may be sent care of Andrew Bingham Independent Funeral Service, The Nutshell, Milton Road South, Stowmarket, IP14 1EZ.
