An adorable tawny owl has been surrounded by surrogate siblings in the form of soft toys after being rescued by a sanctuary.
The young owl was found on the ground and taken to Suffolk Owl Sanctuary in Stonham Aspal.
Experts at the centre, as well as Wildlife Rescue Service, feared it might not survive after it was found cold and damp.
According to the sanctuary, it was gently warmed and given the appropriate food.
It was also given soft toys to act as surrogate siblings to provide comfort and warmth.
A spokesman for Suffolk Owl Sanctuary said: "If you find a young Tawny Owlet on the ground, unless it is in danger (from cars, cats etc), injured or visibly unwell, please monitor from a distance and call us for advice on 03456 807 897.
"Please do not attempt to look after the Owlet yourself, as they require specialist care and food to ensure that they can be successfully released back into the wild once fully grown."
