All over the county, students have gone to school as their literary heroes and villains for World Book Day.
British children's author Michael Rosen has even made an appearance in Ipswich.
Mr Rosen live streamed a show to schools across the country form the New Wolsey Theatre celebrating 50 years since the publication of his first book for children.

Gusford Primary School in Ipswich has been particularly dedicated to the celebration of reading and an entire week of activities were organised for the children as part of the global festival.
One of the highlights so far has been the World Book Day Parade, which saw every one of the school’s 560 children from the ages of 3-11 dress up.
Headteacher Stephen Tapley said: “We had the most amazing world book day parade.
"Some of the children were here with the most amazing outfits that looked like they had spent hours making others were still really brilliant but were put together much more simply. They came up with a whole range of exotic ideas.”
He added: “Some dressed up as One Hundred and One Dalmatians others dressed up as all the characters from Harry Potter. There has been Spidermen, goodies and baddies, The Cat in the Hat and more.”
On top of this author and illustrator Nick Butterworth most famous for writing Percy the Park Keeper came to the school.
“You can get some people who have earned a degree of fame who begrudge giving their time back to children but Nick spent hours making sure every book was signed and every illustration was good.” Mr Tapley said.
Other authors also visited the school and on top of this the school has sold over 800 chocolate bars with golden tickets inside five of them.
All of them will be unwrapped on Friday evening and first prize is £100 and the others will win book tokens.
Mr Tapley added: “Hopefully using the money from selling the chocolate bars we will start putting together an outside library. So then at playtime or lunch time the children can go and take out books from a little reading shed.”
At Whitehouse Community Primary School in Ipswich pupils have been looking forward to World Book Day.
As is custom on World Book Day, each student receives a token to spend and the school was able to obtain a supply of the books from WHSmiths to create a "pop up shop" for students to spend their voucher.
The school's reading lead, Mr Taylor said: "At Whitehouse we are passionate about promoting a love of reading. We want out children to go through their Primary journey enjoying their reading in order to support them throughout their lives."
