A number of Suffolk schools will be fully or partially closed today ahead of the second day of teacher strikes.
Teachers who are part of the National Education Union (NEU) walked out on Wednesday over a dispute of pay.
Samuel Fox, interim headteacher at Ipswich Academy, said the school will be open to all Year 11 students and children who are classed as vulnerable in Year 7, 8, 9 and 10.
Here is a list of schools that are affected today:
- Ormiston Sudbury Academy - Open to Year 7, 8 and 11
- Ipswich Academy - Open to Year 11 and vulnerable students
- Thomas Gainsbrough School - Open to Year 13, 12 and 11
- Westley Middle School in Bury St Edmunds - open to Year 6 students
- Stowmarket High School - open for Year 11 for a half day
This list will be added to throughout the morning.
