In form Stowmarket will be looking for their fifth straight win from their trip to Newmarket but may find their hosts, who currently sit third in the table, stiffer opposition than they have met in recent weeks, writes Phil Griffiths.

The Jockeys, unbeaten on their artificial surface this season, have been free scoring at home with 23 goals from their six games played and three points would see them sit second in the table going into November.

With both sides in excellent league form, both will fancy this game with Stowmarket looking to cement their top six spot, while collecting the scalp of one of the favourites for the league title.

Hadleigh United, who narrowly lost at Stowmarket in the week, have the chance to pick up three vital points when they host Kirkley & Pakefield.

Languishing just above the drop zone, the home side have won half their games at the Millfield, but their visitors have been resolute on their travels, picking up four draws and a win.

United are still well in touch with the sides immediately above them, and three points could lift them a couple of places in the table.

Brantham, who start the day in fifth place, had their six match winning run ended at Saffron Walden last week, and will need to be at their best if they are to take anything from their trip to Histon.

The home side start the day in ninth but have lost just once on home soil - they are looking to get into contention at the top end of the table and a quick return to Step 4 football, so this will be a tough test for the visitors.

Walsham-le-Willows host Haverhill Rovers - the Willows enjoyed a good start to the season but have slipped up in recent weeks, and will see this as an opportunity to collect points against a side without a win in October and just two points from a possible 15.

Long Melford, fresh from a midweek win at Ipswich Wanderers, will be hoping to make it three in a row when they visit Great Yarmouth.

Saffron Walden host Wroxham while FC Clacton travel to Haverhill Borough and Ely host Thetford.
