Pupils at Stowmarket High School came up with a number of creative designs for Christmas hampers which were then filled with goodies and donated to the town’s food bank.

The students created the hampers and contributed the food before they were donated to Stowmarket Food Bank, which is organised and coordinated by Churches Together in the town. hea

The school held a non-uniform day to thank pupils for their contributions in making the hampers and headteacher Dave Lee-Allan along with representatives from the food bank judged the designs.

The Stowmarket Food Bank, which was launched by Delia Smith in 2012, provides food for people on a short-term basis.
