The Terry Cook Memorial Charity Cup, staged at Stowmarket Golf Club, was in aid of the West Suffolk Hospital My Wish Charity – which supports 91 individual funds across the hospital.

The Rainbow Unit and dementia appeal Forget-me-not were the two receiving funds from money raised at the event, which saw 24 teams battle it out for the charity trophy.

Chartered accountancy firm Gascoynes – Chris Reeve, Paul Evans, Justin Alexander and Jimmy Hitter – ended as overall winners with an impressive score of 120.

The Plus Fours, consisting of Keith Alexander, Peter Dentry, Chris Smith and Martin Dentry, won the accolade for best dressed team, pipping previous years’ winners Abba to the award.
