A pedestrian was involved in a collision with a van near Stowmarket this afternoon.

The incident, which took place in Old Street, Haughley, just after 4.30pm, involved a white Ford Transit and a pedestrian.

Police and the East of England Ambulance Service attended the incident.

A spokesman for Suffolk police said officers are still at the scene but any injuries are not believed to be serious.
