Lavenham 

Up there as one of Suffolk's most picturesque villages Lavenham is also one of the county's poshest. 

Home to the Harry Potter house, Lavenham, which is arguably one of the country's most well-preserved villages, gives those visiting a chance to take a step back in time.

Southwold 

The popular costatal town is always receiving national recognition for its lovely beach.

Southwold's beach hold a prestigious Blue Flag for the quality of the beach, the way it is managed and the facilities it offers to visitors. 

It is also home to some of the best fish and chip shops in the county. 

Woodbridge 

The Suffolk town is always a popular choice for people moving to the county. 

It was recently named one of the best places to live in the UK by expert property finders at Garrington. 

Describing Woodbridge the property experts said the town has a "lively and thriving high street". 

"Here you’ll find artisan wine shops and independent boutiques," they added.

Framlingham

Framlingham often receives national recognition for its breathtaking scenery and was also named one of the most beautiful places to live in the county by estate agents. 

It is also home to a number of well-respected schools including Framlingham College and Thomas Mills High School. 

Walberswick 

With its blissful beach and lovely walks Walberswick is one of the most desirable places to live in the UK. 

The village is also home to screenwriter Richard Curtis and his wife, Emma Freud. 

The beach at Walberswick has previously received high praise, with The Times naming it one of the best beaches in the country.
